The 2012 Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship offers 1 American Citizen to learn and experience Indonesian traditional arts and culture for three months period, from March 31- July 13 2012. The awardees will live within or around the Art centers, allowing them to experience the local heritage and to interact with local communities. This in lines with the objective of the program; to encourage better understanding amongst different cultures of the participants, to understand Indonesian diverse arts and cultural heritage, and to cultivate a cultural cooperation to help thrive diplomatic relations in the region and worldwide.
