DIPLOMATIC VISA
Diplomatic Visas are given to foreign citizens bearing diplomatic passports, for the
conduct of diplomatic duties/assignments in Indonesia.
US citizen: based on reciprocity, the diplomatic visa is free of charge, provided by the
applicant is eligible and completed all the requirements.

Request for Diplomatic Visas must be submitted via an Indonesian diplomatic mission abroad, by filling out the appropriate
application forms and enclosing:
- Two recent color photographs (passport size) on picture-quality paper.
- The original diplomatic passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of submission.
- A diplomatic note from related US agencies confirming the person's diplomatic assignment. For other nationals, a
similar diplomatic note from the Embassy/ Consulates.
- Passport contains at least one blank visa page. Amendment and endorsement pages cannot be used for visa purposes.
